Rev. LeShown D. Goodwin, native of Greenwood, South Carolina. He is married to the former Ms. Janice Whitt of Ridge Spring, SC and they have two children, LaShonda and William Anthony.
​
Reverend Goodwin answered his Christian ministerial call on May 16, 2004. He delivered his Introductory Message on Sunday, December 5, 2004 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Coronaca (Greenwood County, SC) where the Reverend Cartrell Blume is pastor. Reverend Goodwin served as an associate minister at Mt. Zion for over four years.

Reverend Goodwin was ordained by the Little River Missionary Baptist Association, Inc. (LRMBA), Greenwood, SC on December 2, 2007.
​
He serves as the senior pastor of the Hebron Baptist Church of Clinton SC from May 2017 to present. He is active in various religious, civic and community organizations within the local Greenwood / Clinton community and within the State of South Carolina.

Reverend Goodwin is a graduate of Greenwood High School, Greenwood, SC and a 1987 graduate of Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a major in Communication and also studied Mass Communication at Louisiana State University. He has a certificate of theology from ITC School of Religion at Morehouse University in Atlanta, Georgia. In April 2014 he completed the 120 hours of training to become a Career Development Facilitator through the Piedmont Education and Business Alliance.

Reverend Goodwin has served in the Army ROTC, Commission Second Lieutenant, United States Army, and the former Platoon Leader for the 371st Chemical Company, US Army Reserve. He is a member of the National Honorary Society of Pershing Rifles. He is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He has completed the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce Visions – Leadership Diversity Course and serves as a member of the Steering Committee. He has been elected to SC Governor School of Arts and Humanities, Board of Trustees January 2014 to present and recently elected January 2020 to serve on the Greenwood County Museum Board of Trustees. He currently works as a Hospice Liaison with Agape Care South Carolina.

Reverend Goodwin is also known and highly respected for his unique teaching style and methods. He is truly passionate in his life’s ministry to lead the unsaved to Christ. His goals are simply described in this passage of scripture … “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thy own understanding; In all thy ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3: 5-6 (NKJV)
